Privacy Policy

Effective 13 October 2026 · Last updated 13 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Wizowl Solution collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.

1. Who we are

Wizowl Solution ("Wizowl", "we", "us") is a vendor-neutral cybersecurity consulting and training organization based at 12, Outer Ring Rd, Old Madiwala, Jay Bheema Nagar, BTM 1st Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560068. For the personal data described here, Wizowl is the Data Fiduciary: we decide why and how your data is processed.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what we need for the purpose you give it to us for.

  • Enquiry forms: full name, company or institution, email, phone number (optional), industry, the service or programme you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box.
  • Training and placement programmes: name, contact details, academic or professional background, course enrolment, attendance, assessment results and certification status.
  • Client engagements: business contact details of the people we work with, and any personal data we access while delivering a service, which we handle under a separate contract with the client.
  • Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, kept to keep the website secure and working.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as financial account details, health information, biometrics or government ID numbers through this website.

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation or proposal.
  • To deliver training, run assessments and issue completion records.
  • To deliver contracted consulting services and manage the client relationship.
  • To send updates about our services and programmes, only if you separately opt in.
  • To keep our website and systems secure, and to meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than the one we told you about without asking you again.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given through a clear tick-box at the point of collection, or for a "legitimate use" allowed by Section 7 of the DPDPA (for example, where you voluntarily share data for a specific purpose, or where the law requires us to keep records). Each consent is specific to its purpose: agreeing to be contacted about your enquiry does not sign you up for marketing.

You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by emailing start@wizowlsolution.com with the subject "Withdraw consent", or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and we will stop processing and delete the data unless the law requires us to keep it.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed for the purposes above:

  • Data Processors who work on our behalf, such as website hosting, email and customer relationship management providers, under written contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.
  • Certification and exam bodies (for example AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA or EC-Council), only when you enrol for one of their certifications through us.
  • Partner institutions and recruiters, for placement programmes, only with your consent.
  • Authorities, where required by law or a lawful order.

Some providers may store data outside India. We transfer data abroad only as permitted under the DPDPA, and never to a country the Government of India has restricted.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 12 months from our last contact, then deleted.
  • Training records and certificates: for the duration of the programme and up to 3 years after, so we can verify completions.
  • Client and contract records: as long as the contract runs and as required by tax and company law.
  • Security logs: at least one year, as required by the DPDP Rules.

Before erasing data because a purpose has ended, we will tell you at least 48 hours in advance where the DPDP Rules require it.

7. How we protect it

As a cybersecurity organization we apply the same safeguards we recommend to our clients: encryption in transit, access limited to people who need it, logging and monitoring of access, and regular review of our providers. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India without delay, as the law requires.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDPA you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable.
  • Seek grievance redressal from us, and then from the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, email start@wizowlsolution.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 90 days.

9. Children

Our website forms are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not track, profile or target advertising at children. Where an institutional programme involves students under 18, we collect their data only through the institution and with parental consent.

10. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and stay secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
